The PISO-C64U card is a new generation product that ICP DAS provides to meet RoHS compliance and the new PISO-C64U card is designed as a drop-in replacement for the PISO-C64.

The PISO-C64U supports 3.3 V/5 V PCI Bus and provides 64-channel Optically Isolated Digital Open-collector output. Each digital output channel offers a Darlington transistor. The PISO-C64U eliminates ground-loop problems and provides isolation that protects host computer from damaging voltages. The PISO-C64U also adds a Card ID switch. Users can set Card ID on a board and recognize the board by the ID via software when using two or more PISO-C64U cards in one computer.

The PISO-C64U software is fully compatible with the PISO-C64 software. Therefore, the new PISO-C64U series card is totally compatible with PISO-C64 card and requires no software modification. The PISO-C64U supports various OS such as Linux, DOS, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows NT and Windows XP/2003/Vista/2008/7 32/64-Bit. It also provides the DLL and Active X control, and various language sample programs of Turbo C++, Borland C++, Microsoft C++, Visual C++, Borland Delphi, Borland C++ Builder, Visual Basic, Visual C#.NET, Visual Basic.NET and LabVIEW to help users to quickly and easily develop their applications.
