New Release: Release Linux VxComm Driver, supports PDS-700, PDS-800 and I-7188En Series Controller
 
 
Introduction:
The VxComm driver for linux system had been released. ICP DAS, one of leading industrial applications providers, now formally releases VxComm driver to support linux kernel 2.6.25 or above.

"VxComm" stands for "Virtual Communications Ports". The VxComm driver creates virtual TTY device interfaces in linux and maps them to the serial ports of the 7188En/PDS series device servers through the Internet/Ethernet network. What the user's RS-232 client programs need is just to change to the virtual TTY device interfaces for accessing the serial devices to the device servers through the network.
