New Product Release: PCI-2602U
Universal PCI, 16-Channel, 1 MS/s, 16-bit analog input, 2-Channel, 16-bit analog output, 32-Channel Programmable DIO High-speed Multi-function DAQ Board (8 K Word FIFO)

ICP DAS announces the release of a new high speed multifunction board for the Universal PCI bus. The PCI-2602U delivers exceptional performance and value by providing 16 single-ended or 8 differential 16-bit Analog Inputs channels with 8 K-sample hardware FIFO, 2 16-bit Analog Outputs channels with a 512-sample hardware FIFO and 32 Digital I/O lines with 512-sample Digital Output hardware FIFO on a single board. 16-bit Analog Input sampling rates can be achieved to up to 1 MS/s, and the board also includes DMA channels that allow performing the streaming of Analog Input data without significantly occupying processor resources. The PCI-2602U board provides a wide range of features, including Card ID functionality, programmable Digital Input filters, MagicScan, Analog/Digital pattern generation, External AD triggers, analog triggers, and pulse width modulation (PWM).......more

New Product Release: PEX-730
PCI Express, 32-channel Isolated Digital I/O and 32-channel TTL-level Digital I/O (Current Sinking, PNP type)

The PEX-730 is the new generation product that ICP DAS provides to meet RoHS compliance requirement, and is designed as easy replacement for the PISO-730U series without any software/driver modification. The PEX-730 supports PCI Express bus and provides 32 isolated digital I/O channels (16 x DI and 16 x DO) and 32 TTL-level digital I/O channels (16 x DI and 16 x DO). The isolated DI and DO channels both use a short optical transmission path to transfer an electronic signal between the elements of a circuit and keep them electrically isolated. With 3750 Vrms isolation protection, these DIO channels allow the input signals to be completely floated to prevent ground loops and isolate the host computer from damaging voltages. Each digital output offers a Darlington (NPN) transistor and integrated suppression diode for the inductive load......more

HMI and Device Control on a Large Screen using a Small PAC
ICP DAS Solution for Water Treatment Monitoring
A major water company in Romania intends to upgrade one of their water treatment station in order to have a better view of the whole treatment process. The project requires real –time monitoring of water parameters on the whole process chain, including flow rate, pH, turbidity, tank levels, dosing, and filtration process parameters. The water company requests 24/7 system availability, data acquisition from harsh remote locations up to 5 miles away from the control center, HMI access both locally and remotely via Internet, and re-using some of the existing infrastructure, for ex. fiber optic, sensors, PLCs, etc. (more...)

Air Pollution Monitoring and Alarm System
Air Pollution Monitoring and Alarm System
With a highly developed industry and the increased use of fossil energy, the quality of human life has been changed. The exhaust from the industrial parks have been verified containing many pollutants such as suspended particulates (PM10), carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2), sulfur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), ozone (O3), etc. The World Health Organization (WHO) has shown that air pollutants can be harmful to the human body. For the purpose of preventing exhaust pollution effectively, we will introduce an “Air pollution monitoring and alarm system” solution, so that the on-site operator can take immediate and effective measures when the pollutant reading is over the limited value, and to make sure the quality of working environment and people's health.
