ICP DAS New Product: CAN-2088C, PWM Module of CANopen Slave
8-ch isolated PWM output and 8-ch isolated high speed counter module

Introduction:
PWM (Pulse width modulation) is a powerful technique for controlling analog circuits. It uses digital outputs to generate a waveform with variant duty cycle and frequency to control analog circuits. CAN-2088C of ICPDAS is a CANopen slave module that has 8 PWM output channels and 8 digital inputs channels with high speed counter function. It can be used to develop powerful and cost-effective analog control systems.

Features:
  • Automatic & software-independent PWM outputs by hardware
  • PWM output frequency: 0.2Hz ~ 500KHz with 0.1%~99.9% duty cycle
  • Modes: software trigger / hardware trigger for PWM output
  • Individual or synchronous PWM output : Using software trigger mode, you can configure all PWM channels, and then choose to trigger them one by one or all of them at the same time.
  • Burst mode PWM operation can be used as the standby signal.
  • DI channels can be used as digital input channels or interact with PWM outputs as hardware trigger sources.
  • DI channels equip with high speed counter function.

Applications:
ĦE Position/speed control for motors

ĦE Brightness control for lamps
ĦE High speed counter input
