The annual PAC forum tour held by ICP DAS ended successfully both in Shanghai and Beijing stop. This year, ICP DAS chooses “application and innovation in PAC” as the theme of the forum. First stop in Shanghai was held on Sep.16th, and the following forum in Beijing took place on Sep.24th.The forum attracted many guests from various fields such as sewage treatment、electric power、intelligent building and so on.

Following with the impressive opening talk from the general manager of ICP DAS- Mr. Robert Chen, all instructors elaborated the latest industrial I/O and PAC products of ICP DAS in 2009. Also, they made a great detail in the applications of CAN Bus / PROFIBUS communication, ZigBee wireless area communication, GPRS/GSM wide area wireless communication and the combined application of innovative configuration software and PAC products. Especially the introduction of industrial control software-SmartQ had aroused intensive interest of all guests in the forum.

During the PAC forum, ICP DAS displayed the new PAC series and wireless products. In addition, the important partner of ICP DAS- Sanlien technology illustrated the earthquake switch GST-43 produced from the core technology of ICP DAS could be installed around the buildings to provide immediate alert when the earthquake breaks out.

At Q&A time, conferees raised questions about the products or shared the experience of using the products. The experts dispelled all the doubts and let guests understand ICP DAS products more.

The satisfactory ends in the first two PAC forums show ICP DAS has tremendous potential in new emerging applications and market growth.
