ICP DAS releases the XPAC-8349/8749 controller (also be called XP-8349/8749) at the beginning of June, 2009. It equips an AMD LX800 CPU (500MHz) running Windows Embedded Standard 2009 operating system. The controller also supports InduSoft Web Studio version 6.1 (compatible with earlier version). By using XP-8x49 with InduSoft, user can easily connect perfectly to I/O devices or other data acquisition equipments. The InduSoft applications consist of animated operator-interface screens, alarm monitors, logic, trend charts, recipes, schedules, security system...etc. The XP-8x49 is 99% compatible with Windows XP Professional. It means that using XPAC-8 x 49 series, users don’t need to spend much time being familiar with another operating system or program developments. XPAC-8x49 series could effectively shorten the development process.
