LSS protocol offers the possibility to inquire and change the settings of certain parameters of the local layer. A CANopen module with LSS Slave capabilities can be configured by a CANopen module with LSS Master Capabilities via the CANopen Network. By using LSS, I-7232D, a LSS Slave can be configured for a CANopen network without using Utility tool for setting the parameters in the local field.
