Looking for opportunities and creating win-win situation

The 2008 China distributors' conference of ICP DAS held on January 8th and 9th in Dongshan of Su Zhou city was a tremendous success with attendance. Distributors are from several main cities across the whole China, such as Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Qingdao etc. The site of conference was chosen in the lakeside of Dongshan because of its Chinese lucky meaning ˇ§wishing to bring fortuneˇ¨.

Two days in a row, the conference theme was around the complete solutions to the products and around applications. In order to perfectly present our solutions, management policy, and future vision to all of our partners, ICP DAS selected 5 distributors, 6 elitist sales representatives and 7 product managers from Taiwan to share their abundant experience. From distributorsˇ¦ ardent feedback, we gained the commitment from most of cooperative partners. All worldwide partners thought that ICP DAS is not only their supplier but also their good teacher who provided sufficient resources and helped them earning more money.

 
 
The first day of this conference was workshop day. In the morning of day one, the supervisors of China area of ICP DAS reviewed year 2007 for strength and weakness at first then brought up visions about 2008. In the afternoon, two Taiwanese sales representatives presented a stage drama which created an easy atmosphere to interpret ICP DAS's business strategy and left a deep impression to all attendees. Moreover, during the following case study session, Mr. Huang hao who is the manager in Wu Han branch and three distributors whom ICP DAS invited from Taiwan shared their stories about selling ICP DAS's products to wide market segments and trained the staffs from the point of marketing techniques.
 
 
The second day was reserved for ICP DAS products. Product managers introduced product lines for all attendees. These product lines include several complete solutions, such as solutions to ICP DAS's Zigbee , motion-control systems, web-related automation products, the future vision of SmartQ and the market opportunity etc. These high-tech solutions spread out new business chance and highly excited all participants' interest. In the following Q&A segment, all attendees exchanged ideas and discussed ways to approach new market segment.
 
 

ICP DAS's 2007 China distributors' Conference wonderfully succeeded and revealed the latest aspect about ICP DAS's global expansion program. Year 2008 is a crucial year for ICP DAS to upgrade its business strategy. ICP DAS expects to work with all partners and to help them find the opportunity and creates win-win situation together. To quote from ICP DAS's director, Mr. Robert Chen, as an ending, "ICP DAS is like a nuclear submarine and now it is time to surface and rock the world!".
