	每條單獨的 FRNET連線上的所有 D/I與 D/O 的 I/O scan time 約只有 3 ms. (當然此 scan time會被 ISaGRAF的 PLC scan time所影響 . 比如若某個應用程式的 ISaGRAF PLC scan time約 9 ms,那此應用所連接的 FRNET I/O的 scan time就會變成是 9 ms, 而非3 ms).以下是空的ISaGRAF程序(只含FRNET設定程序) 大約的PLC scan time. 跟 I-7000 與 I-87K等RS-485 remote Digital I/O 相比, 大約快了20倍以上.

	一塊I-8172FRNET 主卡最多可接256 D/I 加上 256 D/O 點.
