I-7188E series firmware V3.2.23 is updated now

The I-7188E series firmware provides the Vxcomm technique for the I-7188E series modules.

The previous version of the firmware is V3.0.09. After nearly two years of constant modify and test, we make effort for the firmware to be more stable and more user-friendly. The latest version of the firmware releases the more functions and fixes some bugs that the changes only the most important ones are being listed below.

Supported Modules:

I-7188E1(D), I-7188E2(D), I-7188E3(D), I-7188E3(D)-232, I-7188E4(D), I-7188E5(D), I-7188E5(D)-485, I-7188E8(D), I-7188EA(D), I-7188EX(D)

Fix:

  • Fix Hardware flow control bug which the RTS cannot work correctly.
  • Fix command set bug.
  • Remove the invalid debug message output to COM port.
  • Fix the Timer function bug.
  • Change the LED blinking in the different echo mode. M0 is in the original mode (ON 0.5 sec, OFF 0.5 sec), and M1 is ON for 0.1 sec, OFF for 0.1 sec and then ON for 0.1 sec, OFF 0.7 sec
  • Fix the bug that the system crash by WDT while the Ethernet cable has be removed, and the LED on i7188E will blink for 5 times per second while the Ethernet cable has be removed.

Add:

  • Web configuration function (TCP port:80)
  • Telnet function (TCP port:23)
  • DHCP function
  • New command line options: /Y, /Z, /SI, /SO, /SC and /COM
  • Allow the command line options to save in the Vcom.ini which can be automatically loaded while i7188E reboot
