Ans:

Same

1. Both 8KE10.exe and Demo36.exe can be used for 8430/8431/8830/8831.

2. Both 8KE10.exe and Demo36.exe support network communication.

3. When you run 8KE10.exe or Demo36.exe, you can see the same information from the 5-digit LED,and ping the main unit.

Difference

8KE10.exe:  provides many functions allow users send commands to control the hardware.

1) After installing VxComm and map the port I/O to become PC's COM3, you can use 7000 Utility to search COM3 to find the modules plugged in slot and control them.

2) You can run 8431.exe(on PC) to connect to the main unit, and send commands to control the hardware.

Demo36.exe: provides one function allow users read out the module name that plugged in the slot.

1) It doesn't have any other functions to allow users to control the modules plugged in slot.

2) You can run 8431.exe(on PC) to connect to the main unit, but cannot send commands to control the hardware.
