Introduction:

ICP DAS develops iWSN series modules in response to the needs of the Internet of Things, big data analysis, Industry 4.0, energy saving and carbon reduction. The series module uses 433MHz wireless low frequency communication technology that can be effectively applied to wireless applications in different plant areas, and solve the problem of difficult wiring on site. In addition to measuring current, temperature & humidity, gas (CO, CO2, TVOC), vibration and wireless transmission functions, it features low power consumption that can be charged by inductive charging via the current transformer (CT). In terms of setting, it only needs to adjust the dip switch to complete the setting and no need to interrupt the production process, so that it can save the time of system construction and reduces maintenance costs. In addition, iWSN series also provides modules with external VDC and disposable batteries to meet the needs for different applications. iWSN series also features wireless emergency distress system so that it can provide safety warning function at the same time.

iWSN series modules include wireless data contractors and wireless sensing modules. For the wireless sensing module, it can achieve expansion function through the interface of the iWSN expansion module. iWSN series modules generally divided into two types: current measurement type and environmental sensing type. The users can quickly and easily add and adjust the type of sensing module, and this series of modules only need to adjust the dip switch of the module to complete the setting.

• iWSN Wireless Data Concentrator

Introduction:

iWSN-2200 series are iWSN wireless data contractors, they support one 433MHz wireless communication interface and one RS-232/RS-485/Ethernet communication interface(the RS-232/RS-485 interface can’t be used simultaneously).
iWSN-2200 supports Modbus RTU/TCP protocol slave, it can receive and buffer wireless data for up to 31 iWSN nodes, and user can send Modbus RTU/TCP commands to read the sensor’s data by RS-232/RS-485/Ethernet interface. For wireless interface, the series modules support 16 wireless channels and 8 groups ID and can easily perform configuration by rotary switch and DIP switch.

Introduction:      

The iWSN series sensing module is a self-powered module for multi sensing types, it features the expansion function (select the module model with "X" appended), and can be connected to 1 set of expansion module through the audio line to extend the sensing signal points or types. The iWSN series can be charged by CT induced current so no external power supply is needed. However, if required, the iWSN-1510X series can also use external power supply which allows users to implement the deployment according to the on-site environment. With the sub-1G RF communication interface, iWSN series can fulfill real wireless deployment. A variety of IO interfaces are provided for users to freely choice for use in all kinds of applications. Configuration can be done by the DIP switch and rotary switch for easy maintenance and installation. With the flexibility of the expansion interface, excellent performance and good price, the iWSN sensing module can be widely used in applications in power saving, big data analysis, and predict maintenance.

Introduction:

The iWSN expansion module is designed to connect to the iWSN sensing module for more flexibility and expansibility. With iWSN expansion modules, the iWSN sensing module can offer more current and temperature measurement channels. The iWSN expansion module is energized by iWSN sensing module so that there is no external power supply needed. For convenient setting and maintenance, the iWSN expansion module provide removable screwed terminal block, wall-mount mechanism and magnet adsorption for installation, and it also allows connections to different measurement range of CTs to fit all kinds of applications. In the near future, we will develop more IO interfaces to enhance the iWSN functionalities and unleash the power of iWSN sensing modules.
